Studio Pilates: Studio Pilates uses the Pilates equipment and will give you a highly personalised program to work with. Ideal for those of you with specific movement needs or goals (perhaps you are injured, pregnant or training for an event). Classes are held in a semi-private setting with a maximum of 3 participants. * a 60 min assessment followed up with 2 private classes is required before starting group Studio Pilates
Mat Pilates: Core Balance: An osteoporosis and pre-natal safe Pilates class, incorporating core strength with balance and mobility exercises. Mobilising Core Mat: A flowing Pilates class with a focus on strengthening and mobilising. Roll & Release Pilates Flow: Use the foam roller to release muscle tension and aid mobility while flowing through a Pilates class. The roller adds challenge and builds awareness. You will leave feeling like you’ve stretched, strengthened and had a massage! This online class is live-streamed using Zoom and can be done anywhere you have an internet connection. Dynamic Pilates + Circuit: A higher intensity and dynamic Mat Pilates class incorporating body weight circuit. An excellent way to start your day! Strengthening Core Flow: A flowing Pilates class with a focus on strengthening your core and postural muscles. Strengthening Core Flow +: A flowing Pilates class with a focus on strengthening core and postural muscles. Best for those who are injury free and have done Pilates before.
All Pilates Mat classes are a whole body and mind experience. Exercises are done standing, lying, sitting and kneeling and progress throughout the class. Anne’s cues invite you to focus inward on your breath and alignment while moving your body with awareness. Not only will you notice the physical benefit from these Pilates classes, moving mindfully and connecting to your breath allows time and space for your mind to reset. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, energised and centred as well as knowing that you’ve worked!
Best for those of you who are free from injury. Class size is capped at 10 to ensure no body goes unnoticed. Mat classes run by the Victorian school term and there are no classes on Public Holidays. Private Pilates Classes: Private Pilates classes are a brilliant way to focus on your specific needs and goals, in a one on one setting. These classes are run from my small home studio in Bright. Excellent for rebuilding strength and technique for those returning to exercise following a break or use it to compliment your existing Pilates or other movement practise.
